General Information
The Garmin 24hr (formerly the Jeep/Kona 24hr) is a massive relay, where solo riders or teams complete as many laps as possible throughout the day (and night if you choose!).
The Garmin 24hr is possibly the best 24hr in the world and definitely the most fun. The Garmin 24hr will be back in more ways than one this year. Time-out from Lysterfield has prompted us to get back to our roots; advocacy and opening up trails through events.
Following the devastating fires of 2009, the trail network is currently being redeveloped by a group from Parks Victoria,
Full Gas Promotions, Full Gas Peddlers and enthusiastic members of the local Redesdale Community.
The trails within the Mt Lofty Natural Features and Scenic Reserve are not currently open for riding, but once ready they will be another welcome addition to the Victorian MTB Environment; signposted, mapped and able to be ridden 365 days a year.
FGP are proud to be a part of this legacy.
Hands up those who remember with fond memories sunny, dry and warm 24hr events??? It's going to be awesome!! As always it'll be on the last weekend in November. (26th-27th November 2011).

The new lap will be approx 15-16km in length.
