Anaconda Enduro Series
Yes folks, a little name change to the Chase the Sun Series has occured to reflect Anaconda's sensational involvement again this year.
With only 6 days to go until the first round, don't delay in securing your spot in this awesome series......
The first event in the 2008 Anaconda Enduro Series is this Sunday, May 11!! Entries are still open! Don’t miss out!
Every entrant receives an Anaconda Fluid Hydration Pack , a SRAM Powerlink and a Torq Bar or Gel worth over $49 courtesy of Fluid, Anaconda, SRAM & Torq!
Just because it is a 5hr event it doesn't mean that everyone has to ride for that amount of time!!!!
For the majority of participants their team rides as a relay, with one 'active' rider on course at a time. The rest of the time the team sits back, basks in the afterglow of post lap euphoria before putting the drinks and food aside in time for another lap. Each lap is approx 10km long and will take the average rider 30-40mins to complete. You ride as much or as little as you like within the event time frame. This event is perfect for every level of mountain biker!
There is over $30,000 worth of cash and prizes on offer at each round!!
The Pro Pairs cash purse per round
$1000 for 1st place, $500 for 2nd place and $250 for 3rd place
Loads of random draw prizes up for grabs for all riders!!
So how do I enter & what class is for me?
The unique ProTeam format - where teams of two will fight it out for seriously large cash prizes at each round, all the while accumulating points towards the series championship cash purse.
Husband & Wife Teams for mixed pairs, those who can't get enough of each other and love getting down and dirty MTBing together. No marriage certificates needed! It's only a category name, so every mixed pair should be enter this mixed duo category.
For those of you who are Just Good Friends , we have a category for you as well! Two men or two women will get you into this one. No questions asked.
The Corporate Team category for teams up to three riders; you can prove that those workmates that work together can also play together. We don't mind if you all don't work together, we just want to see you play together. Super fast, Super skinny with super light bikes? This is not the class for you... head over to Pro Pairs if you want fame & glory!
For the ORCA Young Guns ; get your school's team in the class for secondary school teams of three riders.Off Road Cycling Adventures will provide an escorted ride dishing out handy tips on how to ride the course that little bit better the day before each event for participants in the ORCA Young Guns category.
Of course where would we be if we didn't give the Solo's a platform to prove just how hard they are?

Remember their will be NO ON THE DAY ENTRIES for any Anaconda Enduro events.
Registration for the first event is available at Event Centre on Saturday May 10, from 2pm to 4pm or at the Kona Dirt Crits on Thurday May 8 from 6.00 to 8.00pm.

We loved every second of last year's events so we are back again to provide TORQ nutrition to every entrant. This year we will be giving every entrant either a bar or a gel to help get through the day.

Need to get some extra training in for the Anaconda Enduro Series???Come down to Westgate Park in Port Melbourne for the Dirt Crits – every Thursday from 5.30pm. Beginners welcome!!
We require you to have front and rear lights for the crits. How great, powerful, LED, HID, lite, carbon, recharge rate, blah blah blah your lights are is completely up to you. As we've said time and time again over the years, the typical Kona Dirt Crit lights equation is something like this; The brighter that your lights are the more fun you will have.
The Kona Week In - Weak Out Dirt Crits are a chance to have a mid-week ride at a uber-urban park. Take it seriously, take it cruisily, take it as it comes, just as long as you have fun and finish with a grin.
If you haven't been to one yet what's your excuse? They are 3kms from the Melbourne CBD, underneath the Westgate Bridge @ Westgate Park, every Thursday night, rain, hail or shine year round.

Pop-Up Tents We have a range of pop-up tents that are FGP field tested at all our events and stand the test of time.
There are two versions (A commercial quality Aluminium or a HeavyDuty Steel version).
Colours available are Black, White, Red, Blue, Green and Yellow.
